BENEFITS OF PADI OPEN WATER :
To register for the Open Water course , you must :
Be over the age of 10 ( Junior Open Water qualification to 15 years)
Complete and sign :
Additionally, if you are under 18 , take extra consideration of your medical state.

PADI OPEN WATER STRUCTURE
The Open Water is comprised of 3 parts:
This gives a better understanding of the marine environment and helps to prevent problems under water
The confined water training consists of various basic exercises, that you will move on todo in the natural environment
The dives allow you to apply your knowledge and plan your dives with the monitor. We also teach you how to manage a dive computer and your levels to be more independent
The Open Water is comprised of 3 parts:
- Theoretical knowledge (5 chapters)
- Five confined water sessions (either in a pool or calm water)
- Three dive sessions in a natural environment

PADI Open Water learning kit
Upon your arrival at ATLANTIS, we provide you with the Open Water Kit containing an Open Water manual, a DVD, a booklet on how to use the dive computer and a folder full registration.
The theoretical learning is essentially "self-learning". We correct you with the Knowledge Reviews, questionnaires and prepare you for the final QCM. The instructor is always available to go over any questions. This method allows you to learn at your own pace.
I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED QUALIFICATIONS WITH ANOTHER DIVING ORGANISATION, HOW CAN I GET THE OPEN WATER QUALIFICATION?
Simply fill in the same folder that a beginner would fill in.
Then, then the instructor will evaluate your knowledge and practice before issuing you with the certification.
In some cases, additional dives can be made to meet the performance requirements of the course.

PADI eLearning ® is a learning tool. Divers who complete the PADI eLearning program meet most or all of the requirements necessary for the theoretical training for the program. If deemed necessary, they must undergo a quick revision test with an instructor.
The eDossiers confirm that the requirements have been met and shall expire one year after the date of the last theoretical section completed.
